Jack Rossmann, Ph.D. completed B. S. and M. S. degrees at Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Minnesota in 1963. From 1964-2007, he was a professor of psychology at Macalester College and was Macalester’s Vice President for Academic Affairs from 1978-86. After retiring from Macalester, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Spencer Foundation for five years. While at Macalester, he was active with the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and chaired 50 accreditation teams. He is currently the chair of the Committee on Accreditation of the American Association for University Professors.
